AGM: Chairman‘s Protocols

We came on board to the glory of God on the 11th of August, 2021. As the 11th Chairman of NIESV Abuja Branch, our one year in office was not a walk in the park, we came in with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm even though we were caught up at the peak of the COVID 19 pandemic, we did not relent. Two years is a very short time to achieve all our lofty plans and ideas so we immediately took the bull by the horns to rebrand and repackage NIESV Abuja Branch.



We quickly constituted all the Committees and appointed their Chairmen. These Committees have lived up to standard and expectations, all of them performing exceptionally well. We renovated our NIESV Abuja Secretariat Office to give it the ambiance of a working environment with a touch of class. We gave out a lot of NIESV Branded gift items to all our financially up to date members and they were happy.



Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, we were the first Branch in NIESV to hold a virtual MCPD. After which other Branches learnt from us and emulated our template for the progress of NIESV. Thank you to ESV. Kehinde Ogunsanya and his MCPD Committee. Still on the COVID 19 matter, we launched the first ever NIESV Abuja E-Newsletter. The same template is what NIESV National is using now. Thank you ESV. Ayo Ogundairo, the Publicity Secretary.



We now have weekly reports from our very able Hon. Secretary and Financial Secretary every Monday on our Whatsapp platforms keeping members updated with the happenings in the Branch. This is another beautiful innovation, in less than 7 months, were able to raise 22million Naira only to give NIESV National as further payment to buy our space at the New NIESV National Secretariat Building thank you to ESV. J.U. Uzo and her project finance committee. Work is seriously going on there at the building and by the grace of God we will move in by December. The Supacell Building project at Apo has been completed and rented for 1Million Naira per annum. By December we will collect another 1million naira rent. This is a good source of revenue generation for our Branch.



We hosted the best NIESV National Conference ever as proclaimed by everyone that came to Abuja. It will not be forgotten in a hurry for setting a high standard which everyone will have to emulate. Special thanks to Kene Onuora, Kelechi Agu and the organizing committee.



We constructed a NIESV Bus Stop Shelter at Gaduwa Junction next to our Secretariat Building as a Corporate Social responsibility and strong a advocacy tool now people stay under it to shield from harsh weather conditions. They call our name NIESV in their subconciousness and bless us in their hearts. Thank you to ESV. Bayo Adeleke, Folarin Akinlotan and Joy Nnabuko that handled it.



We had a wonderful Valuers Week which came with fresh innovations, visiting the families of our fallen heros, boat cruise, and honouring our past Branch Chairmen at a Poolside dinner for the first time in the history of NIESV Abuja. Thank you to ESV. Folake Odusiga, Kayode Igunbode and the welfare Committee members.



As we are entering the second half of this dispensation, we still have more innovative projects to dish out for the progress of NIESV Abuja, but we cannot do it alone. I want to thank my EXCO members for their usually support and 100% cooperation, we are like a family. I want to thank all the Committees Chairmen and their Committee members, their synergy brought about our first half success story.



I want to thank all our Branch members, without your support and approval, both financial and physically, we won`t be here today.
