Detailed Activity Report For 2020/2021 Administrative Year

One of the major achievements of this committee is that we are able to launch the Branch e-Newsletter for the first time and we have published four (4) issues since inception. The e-Newsletter covers major events of the institution, industry, articles, gallery, fun page among others. Through this project, we have been able to raise at least N120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira) for every publication to support activities of the Branch.
Radio Talk Show
Our Radio talk show is an initiative which has brought the branch into the limelight and make general public get more informed about our activities. We are delighted to say our Radio Talk Show tagged “Real Estate Corner” has hosted more than Thirty-Five (35) members of our unity branch on Boss FM and we are still counting.
Launching of Crew Jackets
We launched our branded Crew Jacket and we made sure we attend all institution events together with events of our members with our branded jacket making sure we consistently registered our presence in the mind of all members and general public and members were able to access our support easily through the identity.
In order to update the existing information of firms and members of the branch, google form was created to sought necessary information from both individual and registered firms. The publications which captured Four Hundred and Sixteen (416) members and One Hundred and Forty-Seven (147) registered firm is in its production stage and should be launched on or before August, 2021.
Interactive on Social Media Platform
As committee, we ensure more interaction on all the Branch social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp platforms among others. This was done via several social media drives, boosting our pages in order to drive more traffic to our platforms, creating more awareness to the public, instilled our values and relevance in people`s mind while creating bond among members, in turn we were able to follow up on our welfare.
WhatsApp Platform Decorum
We have been able to maintain decorum on all our WhatsApp platforms which make them more functional and members are assured of getting relevance information and all abnormalities are curbs.
NIESV Abuja Website
Part of our mandate to work with Secretariat committee (ICT Sub-committee) to redesign the branch website to make it more functional and befitting. After several meetings with the website developer, we redesigned the interface and functionalities for developer implementation.
Today, we are glad to boast of full functional website with salient information about our profession and all edition of our e-Newsletter have also been uploaded. In addition, for proper updating and making sure we have full control of our website for continuity we requested for the admin login detailed for backend access and same has been delivered.
Daily News Paper
Posting of Daily News Paper Headlines on all our Social platform has been up and running, ensuring our members are well informed of the current issues across the nation and this has received great commendation.
We were able to achieve the production of 2021 Calendar which was distributed to all members and generated the tune of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000.) to the Branch through advertisements.
We have been able to interview a number of upright personal and stakeholders in the industry which will be published in our subsequent e-Newsletters for the benefit of our members and general public.
Fund Raising Strategy
As a team, we have been able to achieve a lot through voluntary pledges among ourselves to cater for the gift`s items for early commers to Branch general meeting, gift items for members celebrating an event and to also support members in a period of need. This has really brought about unity among members.
Members of our great institution have been featured on TV Shows to discuss matters relating to Real Estate and national issues, curtsey Publicity Committee.
Incentive for early commers
In order to encourage members to be prompt at the Branch General Meeting we came up with incentive for early commers. So far, we distributed our branded golden pens to 45 Fellows and 50 Associates. We have also made customized Key-holder to be distributed in our subsequent meetings.
