The event which held at on 8th July, 2023 at Novare Central Mall, Wuse Zone 5 Abuja commenced with the marching-in of members Abuja Women`s Wing, into the Venue while singing the NIESV National Women`s Wing anthem.

The Branch Coordinator- ESV Sandra Peter FNIVS welcomed members and rendered an account of stewardship since the Inauguration of the Abuja Protem Exco, and further appreciated all NIESV members who have supported the Wing by any means.

A lecture was presented on the main theme `Property Inheritance and Ownership Rights of Women` by Barr. Ogechi Abu FCIArb, who gave an indepth legal knowledge and practical experience on the subject matter filled with enlightenment, as members engaged the presenter during the interactive session.

A goodwill message was delivered by NIESV President- ESV Johnbull Amayaevbo PNIVS, upon his arrival, who started by commending the leadership of Abuja Women`s Wing- ESV Sandra Peter FNIVS and the Pro tem EXCO, for their amazing and efficient management of the Wing, as well as their recent advocacy drive, while thanking them for their support for his administration and its programmes. He further stated that the creation of the National Women`s wing and by extension, the branch Wings has always been a noble initiative, and an indication that our profession is on the path of unhindered growth, which is essential for both economic and professional development.

On that note, he remarked that his administration will further assist the Women`s Wing financially, beginning with NIESV Abuja Women`s Wing, and made good his word by pledging a handsome amount on behalf of National, as members of Abuja Women`s Wing highly appreciated him for the magnanimous gesture.

Thereafter, the group cutting of the cake with the Protem EXCO, the Fellows, Associates and all the members of NIESV Abuja Women`s wing present.

The event reached a climax as Appreciation Awards were presented to the President- ESV Johnbull Amayaevbo PNIVS, 2nd Vice President- ESV Bature Ali Muhammad and the Branch Chairman, ESV Adebanjo Adeleke- FNIVS by the NIESV Women`s Wing.

The event came to an end, where the attending members were treated to a variety of drinks and sumptuous food, whilst the Lucky dip/ Raffle Contest was drawn up with three (3) members winning the lucky dip:

• ESV Mercy Adeoba ANIVS
• ESV Ijeoma Uchegbu ANIVS

The impactful event was a success. Congratulations to NIESV Abuja Women`s Wing.
