On Tuesday 18th October, 2022 at the Board Room of the Branch Secretariat, the Executive Committee of NIESV Abuja Branch ably led by ESV Adebanjo Adeleke FNIVS warmly received the delegates from the EXCO of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) Abuja Chapter led by their branch Chairman- Arc. Yemi Sola-Adebiyi FNIA, who came to pay a courtesy visit to the branch.

The crux of the visit was to share their recent initiative to bring together the seven (7) allied professionals in the built industry within Abuja F.C.T., and discuss on the fundamental issues jointly affecting the real estate profession.

The NIA Abuja Chairman further informed the EXCO of their intentions to scheduled meetings on quarterly basis where each professional body will take turns to host the meeting starting with their branch chapter.

She also opined, that the interaction will:

• Foster collaborations,
• Improve on synergy
• Maintain professional boundaries and distinctions,
• Fight off external intrusion collectively and with one voice

The branch Chairman appreciated the gesture in extending a visit to the Unity branch of our institution. He further remarked that allied professionals should always collaborate for growth, progress and mutual development, and thus the initiative was a welcome development.
